New Moonshot Book Box Installed in Vero Beach

On March 7, we celebrated the installation of a new Moonshot Book Box with City of Vero Beach Mayor John Cotugno. The Moonshot book boxes are provided by a partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties, The Learning Alliance and the Moonshot Community Action Network. Mayor Cotugno and TLA’s Marie O’Brien unveiled the newest Moonshot Moment Book Box at Troy Moody Park. The Moonshot book boxes provide families an opportunity to share and select free age appropriate books to read to their children.  We are grateful to City of Vero Beach Jim O’Connell, council member Rey Neville, and City Clerk Tammy Bursick for coordinating the installation.
